About your instructor

Esther Hansen, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Esther is an RDN specializing in a gentler approach to weight loss.  She calls her approach The Third Option - a balance of intuitive eating and gradual dietary changes.  She teaches her clients to first focus on their relationship with food before they address nutrition.

She has been in practice for over 10 years and has personally helped over 1,000 clients make peace with food then find their personalized, sustainable nutrition plan.    

She is a bona fide nutrition nerd reading diet books and scientific journals like romance novels.  She wholeheartedly believes in the concepts presented in this course based on personal experience, anecdotal professional experience and on a mounting bed of scientific evidence that this approach works - sustainably.
